"The Odyssey" is an ancient Greek epic poem attributed to the poet Homer, believed to have been composed in the 8th century BCE. It is one of the two major ancient Greek epic poems, the other being "The Iliad." "The Odyssey" recounts the epic journey of the Greek hero Odysseus (also known as Ulysses) as he tries to return home after the fall of Troy.
