During these unprecedented times of the early 2020s, DJ Jeff Gold ventured into Web3 software development; believing strongly in its cause which led him ultimately to become one of the co-creators behind Tamago, the Web3 decentralized audio streaming platform. Along with NEAR Hub Virtual Experiences, Jeff is pushing the boundaries to give artists platforms to create, share and be rewarded fairly for their creations.
Jeff Gold’s career in music began as a talented DJ. His mesmerizing blend of deep house and techno has been delighting music fans across the globe for over a decade. Previously based in Montreal, he made the move to Playa del Carmen in Mexico, where he held DJ residencies at notable venues such as Stereobar, La Santanera, Blue Parrot and Canibal Royal and The BPM Festival. Jeff is also no stranger to creating more than just music - his past includes a partner of Spinny Grooves (the first record shop around Playa del Carmen), El Surco Night Club, as well as Haus & Hohm.
