Throughout his distinguished career, he has personally raised over half a billion dollars to support Orthodoxy and Hellenism.In 2022, Father Alex received the United States’ highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and in 2025, he became the world’s highest-ranking married Orthodox priest when he was elevated by the Ecumenical Patriarch to Grand Proto-Presbyter.
