Miltis Tentoglou has qualified for the long jump final at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, clearing 8.26 meters in qualifying on Monday. The 28-year-old needed just two attempts to secure his spot. His first jump came in at 7.78 meters, but his second was a different story entirely, soaring past the 8.15-meter qualification standard by a comfortable margin. Tentoglou is the reigning three-time European champion in the event, having taken gold at each of the last three European Championships.
